Does anyone else feel like Audrey Weasley would always feel a bit left out by the family she married into?
Because, well there are her brothers in law. We don’t need to talk about the craziness of the Weasley family, of most of them having gone to school together and later on fought a war.
And then there are her sisters in law. Which also went to war together, with her brothers in law no less. And three of the four went to school together as well. And the fourth? Also spent a year at the school and got to know a thing or two about the castle.
And those two things, doing something as mundane as going to school together, growing up together and as significant as fighting a war together, they made them a tight knit bunch. Audreys never able to be in on the joke the same way the others are, never quite gets the dark glances that are sometimes shared over the dinner table.
Oh, they try to include her, but how could someone who only entered their life in a time of peace, where everyone has settled into adulthood could ever truly become a part of them?
Her sweet husband, for all he wants to, never understands. He’s always been the odd one in the family. And is just too glad to be part of this family again.
She quietly accepts it. Because what could she ever do to change it?
